Like the sky is blue, such is Justyn to music. That is to say, that Justyn is music. So much more than simply a talented vocalist and songwriter, his music will clinch your soul, leaving you spent and perspiring, aching for song, after song, after song. Like you need breath, Justyn needs song. His appreciation and raw affection for melody and soul are so apparent when one hears his deluge of notes flow. Treading on the heels of legends like Donnie Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, and Marvin Gaye, and more recently, neo-soul crooners, Maxwell and D'angelo, Justyn stays true to himself, melting the roots of R&B greats with a unique, soulful style. Born in Miami, Justyn began singing at a young age. As a child, he could often be found singing along to the car radio, or in his bedroom performing to imaginary audiences. But it wasn't until Justyn made the move from the sun of Florida, to the Northeast - settling first in Philadelphia, then in New York - that he realized music was his undeniable path. His art, his career, his calling, his love. "In this unpredictable world and more specifically the highly unstable life of an artist, music has been my constant, my companion. The music that has influenced and molded me is music that transcends time, and color, and gender. It consists of songs that were great 30 years ago, are great today, and will be great 30 years from now. This is what I'm striving for. Not to be famous, not to have a cool car, not to put out something meaningless just because it has a hot beat. But to write music that will impact people's lives, music that will make them feel, and feel deeply. That's my true dream as an artist." Justyn will make you love, cry, sing, sweat, dance - all at once. If the first song makes you hot, the next, will bump it up a notch. The beauty of his voice, his rhythm, his harmonies, and the power that lives inside his every word, will leave you breathless.
