Juniper's Daughter: 1999-2007: female-fronted pop/rock band from Boston MA. Lead singer/guitarist Erin Murphy-Dunn started the band in 1999 and it has evolved into its current line-up of bassist Lisa Addario, lead guitarist Ian Batchelder and drummer Chad Cunningham.



The musical style of Juniper's Daughter can be compared to that of The Pretenders, Matchbox 20, and Melissa Etheridge, with an infectious pop/alternative edge. The songs are hook-laden, melodic, and memorable.



They have been very well received at some of the Northeast's most prominent music venues, such as TT The Bear's Place, and the Middle East Club in Boston MA, the Met Cafe and Bryant College in Providence RI, Meow Mix Bar and The Alphabet Lounge in New York City. They have also shared the stage with regional artists such as Emily Grogan, Flynn, Carla Ryder and Bowman.

Guest hosts on WPXY-Pixy 103, and WKPE, Cape Cod, MA

Live performances on WBRS (Brandeis University) "The Joint"

An on-air interview with John Lander on Boston's Mix 98.5

Featured artist on Boston's 92.5 The River "RadioBoston" show

Performed at the 2004 New York Auto Show (Javitz Center)

Song after song, this album shows how well JD songs are written. I like to call it Perfect Pop. The aggressive guitar leads compliment the nature of the songs and musicians and non-musicians will love it! Can't wait for the next CD. Keep up the great work Daughter of Juniper!
