A hybrid of driving rhythms and emotional melodies, June and the Ocean’s astute musical themes have become an absolute embodiment of modern misgivings. Hailing from various areas of Rhode Island and Massachusetts, June and the Ocean took root last year with former members of The January Design and The Parting Gift.



With a lineup secured by Christopher Martinez, (vocals) Doug Cahoon,(lead guitar) Paul Kettelle, (rhythm Guitar) Bryan Cavaliere,(bass) and Kyle Thompson, (drums) June and the Ocean has released their self titled EP in Summer of 2010. What came to be from this line-up can only be described as a purely emotional post-hardcore sound that pays reverence to bands like Story of the Year, Acceptance, and Four Year Strong.
