once upon a time, in a land far, far away.there was a little star, high above the heavens.the star lost its balance, and fell to the earth's surface, landing somewhere on the continent of what is now considered north america.upon entering the earth's atmosphere, this star changed its form, quite a few times, actually.
time passed.continents shifted,
and the star changed its form.
kingdoms & living creatures rose and fell.
and the star changed its form again.
then one day,
when the sky turned a misty shade of lavender.
the little star that fell to earth
became
a woman,
blessed with melanin
and song.
the beings of the continent
called her.
