J. Sabin is a versatile, multi talented vocalist, producer, writer, and performer that is reminiscent of all that was once great about music. As many who have heard him first hand will tell you gender, race, or even musical preference do not apply here. Close your eyes and the only thing you will hear are honest lyrics driven by unforgettable melodies, dripping with his own original brand of soul. While the basis of his music may be considered "Pop" many find it exceptionally hard to confine his musical stylings into a genre that is so often considered to be devoid of originality and color. Far be it from that, J. continuously works with other musicians and producers that inspire him to to carefully craft a diverse sound that blurs the lines and presents music that is pleasing to a broad audience.
As a writer he has an innately instinctive ability to create music that is undoubtedly appealing to radio without sacrificing the artistry that defines him. While most of his work has typically been behind the scenes, J continues prove him self by writing hit songs for other artists and developing placement material for numerous major film and television projects. A seasoned performer, J has appeared at several prestigious venues and events both as a solo artist and as the front man of an immensely popular Dallas based band. (SXSW, House Of Blues, The Viper Room, The Conga Room, Palladium, Ghost Bar, Red Gorilla, and many more) After touring with his band for the past several years he has decided to take some time off to work on his long anticipated solo project. J is slated to begin full production of his album in January of 2011.
