J P Michaels is a multi instrumentalist who main instruments are the bass guitar and vocals. He has opened up for acts like Tom Petty, Joan Jett, Missing Persons, Cheap Trick, The Pretenders and was on Gene Loves Jezebels touring line-up.



J P currently works in Las Vegas NV as bassist and backing singer for the "All Star Classic Rock Tribute Band" Playground featuring Frank DiMino from Angel, Oz Fox from Stryper and Johnny Lust from Creature and Bay City Rollers. J P is also with the 3 piece band Three Blind Mice as singer and bassist, and also works as a session player and vocalist for local recording artists and commercial work. He is quickly becoming one of Las Vegas's most sought after and hardest working bassist. With many years of entertaining audiences, J P has honed his skills as a musician and singer and continues to entertain thousands of people weekly as they visit Las Vegas. Come on out to any of J P's shows in any band he's in and you will see him in action with some fine musicians.
