I have hesitated posting this, mainly because I'm not sure if it's a good idea for anyone to cover this song. It is so intrinsically apart of its creator that any attempt at it feels counterfeit and cheap. However, potentially against my better judgment, I decided to play it to honor Prince on the day of his death. Everyone at this small restaurant sang along in response to the overwhelming power and influence that his music has had over our lives. I am so grateful to have lived during the reign of Prince.
