Josh Logan began his music career at the age of 14. With the legendary Stevie Wonder and such artists as Pearl Jam, Prince, Tupac Shakur, and other diversities spinning in his CD player, Logan discovered his sublime voice. Determined to excel as a musician and song writer, he added the guitar to his talents chiseling his craft as a self-taught musician. By 15 Josh was taking the stage at many packed venues as a front man of the popular band "Gunshy". Since then Josh has taken the time to master his musical talents and in return has created an impressive name for himself. His music follows its own path with deep direction and soulful lyrics, never loosing touch with what his fans crave.
Josh Logan was named Hardest Working Musician in Manchester, NH by The Hippo Press, a local paper, in 2003 and awarded one of the top 100 semi finalist in the Disc Makers "Independent Northeast Songwriting Competition". He released a self-titled full length CD in December 2004. The first single "Painful Breath" has been requested and played on Clear Channel stations ROCK 101 WGIR and WHEB. Josh has also won multiple awards on "GarageBand.com" for his songs "Nobody Feels" and "Know Future".
He has shared the stage with national recording artists; Dime-Bag Darrell and Vinnie Paul of Damage Plan, Tantric, Shinedown, Lacuna Coil, blues legend James Montgomery, Toby Lightman, John Popper of Blues Traveler, and Tommy Lee of Motley Crue & Methods of Mayhem. In the summer of 2005, Josh embarked on a 3 month tour with the number one college act "Recycled Percussion" on their "Rock Your Junk" tour. Josh played to packed venues every night and collected many new fans along the way.
Josh finally got a shot at the big time in late July of 2006, when he was chosen to be a contestant on the TV show "Rockstar: Supernova". This once in a lifetime experience put Josh in front of 10-20 million viewers two times a week as they witnessed his work with Dave Navarro, Jason Newstead, Gilby Clarke, Tommy Lee & Butch Walker. In the sixth week of the show Josh was eliminated due to the fact that he wouldn't alter his soulful singing and guitar playing style to conform to Supernova's pre-planned design.
Following the show Josh found solace in returning home to his roots and his band on the East Coast. Over the course of a year his latest creation has become a masterpiece of soul, rock, positivity and versatility. Do yourself a favor and keep an eye out for the 2008 release of Josh Logan's ultimate debut.
