Jonny Kash was born in Mexico, Missouri on November ,16 1981 at Audrain Medical Center to Jacqua Brown and John Hoard. He came up in the same stereotypical lifestyle; poor and with not much of anything. Jonny Kash's parents were his inspiration for the music he makes today. He lived his music every day of his life. Jonny Kash was influenced by artists such as E-40, N.W.A., Brotha Lynch, Pac, Big, EPMD, Kool G Rap, Rahkim, UGK & EIGHTBALL & MJG. He started as a freestyle rapper, trying to immulate his big brother, Bigg Dogg, who had a couple of songs with his partners on an underground tape that circulated all through Missouri and surrounding states. He moved around a bit because his mother left his dad when he was 10 due to his father's drinking. In 1996, one of those moves led them to Dallas. While staying with his Uncle and family in Pleasant Grove, he attended H.G. Spruce High School. Financial circumstances later forced Jonny Kash and his mother to move to North Dallas where he then attended Hillcrest High School. He went on to graduate in 2000. In 2002 after his first mixtape, the "Get Money Mixtape vol. 1", created a buzz in the streets, he got the attention of the C.E.O. of Fam Life JuJu. He liked the way that Jonny Kash approached his music. Not only could he rap but he could also sing his hooks. Jonny Kash describes himself as having a style like none other, original, with a smooth delivery that's very catchy and easy on the ears. He believes that he will go down as one of the greatest rappers in history. Jonny Kash has worked with artists such as Too Short, Keak Da Sneak, Big Tuck & Juvenile. At the present time he is preparing to release his first solo album, "Da Mid-South Album". The title as well as the sound originated from living half his life in Missouri and half of in Texas. His first single is "Ready Ready" feat. Juvenile; described as a crunk down south classic club banger. His album also includes features from Big Tuck, Kotton Mouth, Mr. Lucci, Lil Joe,The Show, Young Bleed & more. He has also proven himself to be a great performer on stage as well opening up for Lil-O, Rick Ross, Lil Flip, Young Bleed, Juvenile, who he has performed his single with. He feels he has paid his dues and weathered a lot of storms. Jonny Kash has one of the hottest albums to ever come out of Dallas and its his time. He is an active member of his church.
