JOLLY BLACK SINS

[EN] Jolly Black Sins were born in 2006 when the cousins Umberto (drums) and Riccardo (guitar) started looking for possible components for a metal band. Very soon Marco (bass), Mario (voice) and Nicolo (keyboards) were recruited. With this line up the first EP 'Just for You' was recorded in 2007 at Officina49 in Cesena. 'Just for You' is oriented towards a rather eclectic metal with influences from industrial and death metal, inspired by bands such as Cradle of Filth, Slipknot and Fear Factory. The months following the recording witness the first live shows and the arrival of a new component: Leonardo (guitar). With the begging of 2008 Marco decides to leave the band due to personal issues and Enrico promptly takes his spot. The new line up heads towards the sounds of northern Europe metal. In December 2009 at Studio73 in Ravenna the second EP, 'Desperate Living', is recorded. With their brand new material, Jolly Black Sins hope to reach a broader audience and to keep walking down the long road they have ahead, guided by their 'do-it-yourself' philosophy. // [IT] I Jolly Black Sins nascono nel 2006 quando i cugini Umberto (batteria) e Riccardo (chitarra) si mettono alla ricerca di altri componenti per formare una band metal. Vengono così arruolati Marco(basso),Mario(voce),Nicolo'(tastiere). Con questa formazione nel 2007 viene registrato presso l'Officina49 di Cesena il primo EP: "Just For You", orientato verso un metal molto eclettico con influenze industrial e death metal, ed ispirato a gruppi come Cradle Of Filth, Slipknot e Fear Factory. Il periodo successivo alle registrazioni vede l'inizio dell' attività live e l' ingresso in formazione di Leonardo (chitarra). A inizio 2008 Marco decide di lasciare per motivi personali,dopo qualche mese viene sostituito da Enrico. Con questa nuova formazione la band si spinge verso le sonorità dell' attuale metal nord europeo. A dicembre 2009 presso lo Studio73 di Ravenna viene registrato il secondo EP: "Desperate Living". Con il nuovo materiale i Jolly Black Sins sperano di raggiungere sempre più persone e continuare a fare km on the road, forti della mentalità del do-it-yourself che li contraddistingue.
