Creatively will always be a part of me , it’s like a diary , an antidepressant , lifts you up , cools you down and it’s great to be apart of . Whether it’s song writing , filmmaking , designing album covers or just getting a vibe in helping someone creative . All started back in 93 a paper note book and a few lyrics , encouraged by friends that those words were something cool , but I lacked the confidence to pursue them to any kind of recordings . Then in 2000 it all changed co writing a song at a local recording studio and looking to writing for a loyal band called ‘Synergy’. That band , I ended up becoming they’re keyboard player . When the band split , I started producing and recording my own material. I love writing , the vibe and love creative. people I have been involved with over the years . Reaching deep some times writing for my self , my friends and just getting a kick out of entertaining people.
Things have gone Supernova in the last few years as well concentrating on my own material . I have co written , recorded , played and produced songs for a number of local artists . Most notably ‘Kirsty Anne Symonds ' which it has been a joy to work with such a diverse and experimental artist. Then in 2007 you tube , put me on a different track , having a go at the playing a song in your living room fad ( I had been playing locally for a years ) . With each video I have tried to improve on the last , from 2008’s Ultra low budget ‘Caged rat‘, to more slickly cut 2010 music videos ‘Midnight’ and ‘Fragile’. I took a major step in 2008 in making a feature film called ‘Like an Angel’ a fantasy adventure film , with special effects , sword fighting and with instrumental music , for which I wrote and recorded most of the music in the picture ( you can find out more about the team behind the film at the official website link address below). Next up in the feature stakes is ‘they’re Coming ‘ a thriller , for which I am looking to shoot March Next Year. Can’t seem to sit down these days , just got this mega vibe about creative stuff , always searching for the next video and song , and I’m always on the look out for checking out new Music and Films from other creative types or may be a collaboration on some new music or music videos .
