The song "Night Time Is The Right Time" was recorded for the first time by Roosevelt Sykes in April, 29, 1937 (Decca 7324) and popularised by Ray Charles with a hit version released as a single in late 1958!
There're a lot of covers by a variety of artists, but I think the John Lee Hooker's version is the best (for his incredible singing)... I listen to it since I was a young child! Definitely my favourite blues tune!
