Since the dawn of civilization, the word KUSH has stood for far more than just the sum of these four letters. In about 1500 B.C., the kingdom of KUSH flourished on a floodplain of the Nile river's third cataract. Over the next several hundred years, the KUSH civilization gave birth to a movement that transcends culture, skin tone, and social standing; an organic, 'grass roots' movement which has produced a harvest of product and muzik of a strain far more potent than the rest.

Major players like LARRY, IRENE, and BUBBA are cousins in the cause, with the MASTERs and OGs manning their elite posts in the KUSH hierarchy.
