John Kengla

I make my living playing guitar, bass, and singing. In 2007 I left Ohio and moved to Greenpoint, Brooklyn. I am in a band called The Madison Square Gardeners. We're probably the greatest of all time. I also play music with Serena Ryder (Atlantic Records), Aaron Lee Tasjan, Alfonso Velez, and a bunch of other New York singer/songwriters. Sometimes I play on some broadway shows including Green Day's American Idiot and Rock of Ages. Some bands and musicians I've played or recorded with in the past are: Red Wanting Blue, Keith Christopher (The Georgia Satellites), Ben Kweller, Kevn Kinney (Drivin n Cryin), Jamie McLean (The Dirty Dozen Brass Band), Pulp Empire, Brian Michael Murphy, Matthew Hoover, among many others. It's a lot of fun.
