John Courage resides in California for the moment, but over the course of his short life, he has lived throughout the western United States.
His latest album, "Lovers Without A Care" has been released in California, and New Mexico. Plenty of touring up and down the West Coast is in the works for summertime.
In the past he has opened for a vast array acts including Emily Jane White, Ramblin' Jack Elliot, Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen, The Devil Makes Three, The Shiftless Rounders, and indie darlings The Velvet Teen. Often finding himself and his various backing bands on stage with punk, metal, or hip hop acts, he has learned to adapt like a chameleon without losing the ability to retain that certain "John Courage" sound. It doesn't matter if he's producing a recording, sitting in, or leading the band, you're sure to know when there's a little bit of that over sized leprechaun infecting the groove.
Sometimes he shows up alone, other times he has a rag tag band, but either way you are promised a spectacle.
