The Fighter
Written by: Lena Anderssen

Sometimes I feel like packing up
Throwing in the towel and all my stuff
'Cause the papers still remains unsigned
And I'm not fit to be the fighter kind

When these notions hit me like they do
It's like the ocean pleading with the moon
And you can't negotiate the tide
Even if you are the fighter kind

I've got bills to pay and dreams to kill
'Cause a dream can make your heart stand still
When the fuel it needs to stay alive
Only comes from good old fighter kinds

So I weigh my choices one by one
Do I stick it out or say I'm done
Then I roll my sleeves up one more time
I tell myself that I'm the fighter kind
