JOHAN BECKER is an ARTIST/SONGWRITER based out of Stockholm, Sweden.Johans first band (duo) "Black & Becker" was formed together with Songwriter/producer/Keyboardist Marcus Black. The first single was "Learning to live" back in 2001 (Edel)
After winning Fame Factory in 2004, Johan released his hit single "LET ME LOVE YOU" and formed the band THE WALLSTONES with Karl Martindahl.The album "pleasure and pain" was released in 2005 (Warner)
Proffessionally Johan listens to all kinds of music but prefers hardrock. He is a skilled writer in pop/rock/metal and dance music.
As a songwriter Johan has generated hits in Sweden and around the world.
NEWS from Fall 2008: Johan co-wrote 6 songs for the album "Rock n roll children" by the young finnish metal sensation "STURM UND DRANG" . The first hit single was "BREAKAWAY" and the album has already sold GOLD.
Johan worked with "STARPILOTS" as the singer and writer. The first GOLD selling single "IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT" became a massive radio HIT in Sweden and in the UK. The second single "Higher " became a gold selling single after being launched in melodifestivalen 2009. Johan is currently working on solomaterial under the name of BEKKER.
