Davy and his sister Jill were kind enough to call Joe their protégé and direct him to his first London residency.The past year has seen Joe enjoy a monthly residency at the legendary (now relocated) Dream Machine record shop in Dulwich Village. He accompanied Miranda Lee Richards on the final leg of her UK tour and her live performance of "Life Boat" on Mark Radcliff and Stuart Marconi's BBC Radio 2 show.Joe moonlights in other projects, supplying guitar skills for the likes of William B Caruthers' Freelovebabies, Circulus, and The Jazz Butcher.Joe hosts The Bard, The Beat & The Blues, an all acoustic folk/jazz/poetry club every other Tuesday in The Constitution pub in Camden. Guests have included Michael Horovitz, Earl Okin, Poeticat, J C Carol, Ayanna Witter-Johnson, This Is The Kit, Frog Morris, Circulus and Graham Coxon. The intimate night also features less well established musicians and spoken word performers.
