JOEL HOFMANN:

From his deep and true baritone, Joel Hofmann can cover legends like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and George Jones, just to name a few. His Telecaster rings with the emotions of the past with a hint of a wide variety of influences. He can go from a bluesy original to a classic country cover with minimal effort while his super tight rhythm section keeps the beat. The Joel Hofmann Band is truly a honky-tonk band in the sense that they play what they want and they play for the enjoyment of playing. "The Joel Hofmann Band will be around a long time".

JIM ADAIR:

Jim moved to Austin in January of 2006. This was in no small part because of the outstanding music scene in the Central Texas area. He started playing drums around the age of 12, and learned to rock out playing along with "Appetite for Destruction". Growing past his Metallica, Rush, Ozzie phase, Jim went on to play jazz and blues at Central Michigan University. He enjoyed it so much, he stayed an extra 4 years! Now in Texas, the country, jazz, blues and honkey-tonk scene are just the thing to scratch that musical itch! Rock on!

This veteran Texas guitarslinger/producer has recently been playing all over the USA with former AZ artist Dave Insley whose upcoming CD was recorded and produced by Dale. He's toured the UK in 2003 with New Yorker Penny Jo Pullus where he met British honkytonkers Too Country and subsequently recorded and produced their CD in 2004.

Dale has also toured Europe extensively in the 1990s and has been working TX and Austin in recent years with such acts as-Brandon Wayne and the Widowmakers, Wayne Hancock, Wammo, Trigger Happy, Magdalenes, Jane Bond, Texas Sapphires, Rick Hornyak, and the Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash.

Currently Dale is proud to be recording and producing their new CD, as well as performing onstage with the Joel Hofmann Band.

In his spare time, Dale also fronts his own hillbilly honkytonk spaghetti western swing band Genuine Cowhide, showcasing his own vocals and songwriting while bringing back the WESTERN to country and western on their CD Modern Sounds in Hillbilly and Western, available at CDbaby or at the website www.genuinecowhide.com.

JEFF LANE:

Jeff really does not have it in him to talk about himself, which in general, tells you everything you need to know about the guy. His musical influences vary from Southern Rock to Honky-Tonk, down to the most pure and soulful singer song writers, such as Radney Foster and Bruce Robison.

Instead, I will just tell you the story about how he got into music. He moved to San Marcos in 1998 from a small town, I will not mention which one, but the President lives there every now and then and ironically enough is the home of the Motor City Madman, Ted Nugent, in search of his education. Little did he know that he would earn two degrees. In late 2002, he obtained his first degree from an accredited university: Music for dummies, followed up with his BESS in 2004. Yes do the math he was in school for six years. (Jeff adds, Thanks Mom and Dad). He began playing and penning songs and taking in everything about music he possibly could. After some coercion from some friends, Jeff was convinced to pick the bass and learn the basics. Soon after, he joined the critically acclaimed band, One Bald Dog, aka The Hard Luck Kings. Four and a half shows later, the band dissolved, and Jeff decided to hang em up. About a year went by when Jeff got a call to stand in for a bassist. Joel stood in for the lead guitarist and a month later The Joel Hofmann Band was formed. Thanks Michael. And that is where he is today. If you want to know more, buy the guy a beer. Sooner or later he wont shut up.

Seriously, if you want to hear some of the most pure Honky-Tonk music around, make it out to see The Joel Hofmann Band.

BILL LAWSON:

Bill Lawson holds a very special spot in our band. He has been a friend of our family since I (Joel) was just a little kid. I used to follow him around and call him "Bill the Painter" He also taught me a lot of guitar fundamentals that I still use today. Bill has been playing bass for many years and has been lucky enough to have toured with Wayne Hancock and Terri Hendrix. I hope Bill will be with us for a very long time. Joel
