Joda Cema

Joda Cema formed back in the dark ages of the Bournemouth metal scene and are now the longest standing and best received band based in the region. In days past the members cut their teeth in bands such as Snub, HFM, Reborn, Man Bites Dog and Temujin. Now slightly more mature (and slightly more talented) Joda Cema came together to do what they love best. Metal.



In an ever changing scene where bands lose the will to continue due to unfulfilled aspirations of rock stardom and delusions of groupie filled tour buses Joda Cema have jobs, so they can buy good equipment, cars to travel to shows and the means to pay for groupie filled tour buses without unnecessary insurance overheads involved with renting tour buses in the first place.



Just as the business world has changed into a seething mass of middle management and ‘development opportunities’ where work is no longer needed to be done to be successful and everyone wants to be the managing directors first hand advisor, the metal world loses its head in a sea of struggling musicians wanting to open for slayer but unable to buy a new pick for the upcoming ‘all day metal’ event at the local YMCA. Joda Cema are the workers, the stable, balls out (sometimes literally), brutal metal where success is and will always be…not down to wearing your sisters jeans and having Salvador Dali as the main influence for your new haircut.



So that’s it. Joda Cema exists for one reason and one reason only. To create the best shows with the minimal amount of bullshit.
