i'm that diamond in the dirt, i've been all over the u.s living my dream without the aid of any major lable. Based in chicago and atlanta i've been one of the hardest working artist for quite sometime, but u know they say you gotta wait to be great. The name Jo blak carries a lot of weight in my city, from my old battle days and innovative music in my league. Like so many I've been through a lot growing up and trying to survive the tragic reality that some of us are tested with day by day. my love for god and my undying drive has evolved me into the urban poet that defines what i represent today, True hip-hop which flows thru my veins. I am one of the last of a dying breed. My time is of the essense so the minutes and hours that i spend playing this corrupted game in this so called hip-hop industry will be challenging, depressing, and full of let downs. Now at the age of 20 I feel like I've grown, matured, and gained discipline and respect for this art. I learned that being a good listener will take you a long way. Now my motto is Instead of being the jack of all trades i'd rather be the master of one, i'm the voice of the struggle . the old heads call me a "breath of fresh air". i'm the one and only the official Jo Blak and i represent every man and woman white, black, brown, and red. So be sure to lookout for me because i'm coming and its nothing these lil rappers can do to stop me.
