///  Inspired by a

boisterous and sinful nightlife, Copenhagen's new flagship brings birth

to a genre self-labled as urban electro! Confronting the present

bubblegum music industry with bracing talent, these two cunning young

men understand how to combine diverse elements of todays popular music

and form it into an innovative and refreshing mash-up. The answer is a

experimental clash of electro, urban, house and pop.



One half of the duo is producer and dj Klaus Christensen. The veteran

has worked for many major players in the danish music scene, which added

him a handful of gold and platinium records to his furnishing. His

latest project was Denmarks top notch dj 'Morton Breum'. His vocalist

partner, 'Joachim "J.O." Schaarup-Jensen' started his profession as a

rapper and songwriter. He wrote for many successful danish pop artists

and others all across europe. His demo song "Fantasy" got leaked after

songwriting sessions in Germany and made its way through the world wide

web. What first seemed to be a costly mistake, turned out as boosting

hype and a placement in Ashton Kutchers tv show "A Beatiful Life"!



The fusion to J.O.K.C. evolved rather naturally and came hand in hand

with the enormous creative output and a strong growing friendship. The

infectious groove of their first release "Lead Off" was not only

spreading through numerous charts, but furthermore landed in the hands

of techno legend Rune RK. The godfather of the alltime classic

"Calabria" was more than delighted and honored the release with a remix

of his own. A wave of wild concert tours, features and remix requests

followed and floated them straight to their first tv perfomance at the

prestigious Danish Deejay Awards with names like Morton Hampenberg,

Trentemoller, Alphabeat and Fagget Fairys.



In the present time the duo is in the working process of their debut

album "From 64 to 128 bpm". The release of the highly-anticapted single

"Regardless" is set for April 2010. The boys are confident to break

through with a  fresh new sound, contribute positive vibrations,

and give a boost of energy to the present urban music scene. ///
