Mike J

Artist / Band / Musician
R&B / Pop
Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Micheal Jiminez was brought into this world by two talented parents. With his father having such a great voice, it was passed on to Micheal & his older brother. The three of their voices together are some of the most remarkable sounds ever heard today. Micheal, growing up, was & still is influenced by some of the most elite musical geniuses, such as Micheal Jackson, Brandi, Tank, Glen Lewis, Stevie Wonder & Rico (his brother) just to name a few. Micheal would sing and rehearse their songs for hours, day in and day out to better his talent. He's some what of a perfectionist. Pushing his self to the limit, Mike Jays hard work is beginning to pay off. He started writing at the tender age of 16 and has just about mastered it, while working with and under some of the greatest singers & song writers such as Baby Face (who calls him "The Greatest"), Damon Thomas, Right Time

& The Council music group. He looks forward to the day when he will be working with Timberland, Brian Micheal Cox, Oak, Woodworks, and

lastly Rodney Jerkins & Dr. Dre. When he's not in the gym working out, you can usually find him in the studio writing and recording, or being the kid he still is making youtube videos and adding them to his myspace. When asked what were some of his goals in life his response was, "One of my goals is to be one of the most successful R&B artist and more, my second goal is to take R&B back to what it use to

be" With the determination, skills, dedication, hard work, and the positive mind set he has now, he will fulfill his goals in no time. Mike Jay has been compared to Mohamed Ali "The Greatest" Some say he looks just like him. Yet, Micheal hasn't been compared to many artist because he has a caliber that sits on a plateau no one has quite reached and mastered, at such a young age.

This is the life of MIKE JAY DA BOSS!
