Jet Black Halo

In a world “where shadows cling and forfeit wings” hope is often unfound and forgotten. In an attempt to invoke change, Jet Black Halo strives to open the hearts and minds for a more active, passionate and knowledgeable music scene.



Re-formed in the fall of 2003 (originally called As I. 1999-early 2003) Jet Black Halo has been working hard toward expressing their creative outlook on the human condition. To further their influence and aspirations, the band has entered the studio for their second release and is taking every opportunity to perform empowering shows for live audiences. The first full length was released in 2000 by Geykido Comet Records called, Rise and Scream.



The music of Jet Black Halo is best described as fitting somewhere in the spectrum of hardcore, pop-punk, and melodic rock’n’roll. The passion bleeds through the music as an accurate expression of the angst, desperation, and urgency in the message they convey. “These broken wings, these hopes and dreams, can still set us free.”
