BILLY GOMBERG + OFFTHESKY.FLYOVER SOUND



'Flyover Sound' is the collaborative effort of Billy Gomberg and offthesky. The pair bring together their individually unique sounds to create a rich and beautiful album. Complex drone and glitch arrangements play alongside acoustic guitar and subtle field recordings.



SHINOBU NEMOTO.IMPROVISATIONS

An epic album by Japanese artist Shinobu Nemoto, Improvisations 1 showcases Shinobu's ability to create beautiful and interesting sonic textures using minimal means. Using only an electric guitar, stomp boxes, and recording to a 4-track with no overdubs Improvisations 1 delivers 5 massive pieces. Recorded in January of 2009 each piece initially soft and subtle build and layer gradually into powerful and intense guitar noise drones.



IAN HAWGOOD.THE GREAT ALLURE

The latest addition to Ian Hawgood's growing body of work, 'The Great Allure'. A very personal and heartfelt album, 'The Great Allure' amasses six passionate movements into a tribute to the memories of traveling by train. Inverted pianos wrapped in a blanket of distant fog seen peering through a train window dripping with wiped away condensation. Forehead against glass with a melancholy gaze towards the passing landscape. Broken voice and hand claps layer subtle nods to Reich.



SYLVIE WALDER.MOMENTS

The first public release of French sound artist Sylvie Walder. Sylvie's 'Moments', pulls one into delicate and intimate moments in time. Drawing from a palette of introversion, nostalgia, absence, longing, and "la présence du sacré" Sylvie creates a uniquely evocative sound through the intimate tones of her piano as the driving force behind her emotive sonic constructs.
