NYC based Jennifer Glass was raised in Jackson, Miss, and rural New Hampshire. Along with playing regularly in the Northeast, Glass and her band have made their way from coast to coast, playing dates with Dave Matthews Band, Ben Kweller, Rhett Miller, The Hotel Cafe Tour, Will Hogue, and Sam Roberts Band. Glass was featured on HDNET TV's "Onstage at World Cafe Live" ( recently released as a DVD on Universal) , was a showcased artist on Artist direct, and recorded a "From The Living Room To The Loft" program at The Living Room, NYC, to be broadcast on XM Satellite radio in the spring. Glass induldged her love of country music when she recorded Bruce Springsteen's "Bobby Jean" on a tribute record, with famed bluegrass musican Sam Bush and his band, before making any recordings of her own. Dave Marsh, host of the Sirius radio show "Kick Out The Jams" and celebrated rock writer recently said Glass " speaks from her heart", an essential element of her soulful, melodic writing.

The appropriately titled 2006 "Little Shout" was Glass' first release, produced by Tommy Borscheid, and mixed by Adam Lasus ( Clap Your Hands Say Yeah). Tea Leaves, Murder and Dreaming is the new full length album, and the first for her band, Starling Crush, with bandmate Michael Simone ( Seems So Bright, Lovesky), producing and collaborating. The album will be released digitally soon. Glass is also a host for Concert TV (www.concert.tv), featured interviewing bands, and reporting from festivals like Bonaroo and Austin City Limits, and covered the Tribeca Film Festival, hosting for Yahoo.com.

"Jennifer Glass is an incredible vocalist/songwriter. She's an independent artist who has managed to find a niche in New York City and is ready to break out nationally. The sound, the grooves, the look, and basically the ultimate complete package, Glass is waiting to be cherry picked as a major musical force. Be the first one to find out about her before your friends and dig into her new EP, Little Shout. It won't be long before she breaks."
