Jenifer Jackson has just finished recording her tenth album, which will be called "The Day Happiness Found Me". This new album was recorded in Austin at James Stevens' studio, EAR. It is being mastered by Jim Demain in Nashville.
An X-Newyorker, JJ has settled in Austin, Texas, where she records and performs with her trio: Chris Jones on upright bass and Cheir McQueen on guitar and back up vocals.
This new collection of original compositions features Melody and Harmony. The recordings are live, with very few overdubs. The trio rocks gently and soulfully.
