Jean Claude Ades was born and raised in beautiful Italy but resides in Munich whilst being a steady regular in Ibiza. Jean Claude Ades or JCA as his fans call him has been anointed as a global player. Incorporating the influences from his German mother and French father, he has a fresh European flare that makes his sound all his own. Beginning at a young JCA mastered the piano and accelerated as a producer, DJ, remixer and songwriter. With his driving passion for his craft and the creative music process, he was able to hone his own personal style as a producer through various types of technology. With this vast knowledgeability under his belt, he is able to create a raw distinctive sound through the use of synthesizers, keyboards and computers.
Jean Claude has been creating a massive buzz in the international dance scene with his productions; remix work and highly energetic DJ sets. His influential early productions, “Shake That Ass”, “The Colour Of My Style”, “Everything I Do”, among others, opened the door and introduced him to the global dance community. One of his first notable achievements was his 2003 hit record “I Begin To Wonder” featuring Dannii Minogue, which reached #1 in the sales charts in Italy, #2 in the UK, #3 in France, #2 in Australia, and went top ten in several other countries. This was his start as a world-famous DJ and producer and showed his keen sense of highly requested house music. The Warner Music Group also discovered this talent and so JCA signed his first major recording contract. Today he has sold over 1 million records around the globe.
In 2005 Jean Claude Ades founded his own label Swings Records. Swings Records allowed Jean Claude to showcase his talents and create a more personalized sound that set him apart from the pack. Without restrictions, JCA is able to freely create what is the next generation sound for house music. The first release on Swings was “Someday,” which featured vocals by Niki Harris, a former Snap! vocalist and background singer for Madonna. The collaboration launched him into a new playing field as a heavily sought after producer for quality Dance Crossover. The track became an immediate club anthem worldwide and hit #1 on Beatport charts. Shortly after this, the super label Ministry Of Sound signed JCA’s “Fly Away” ft. Rufus Martin, a true statement into his growing popularity and production prowess. JCA earned another #1 on the Beatport charts with his release “Shingaling” featuring UK singer Sam Obernik. JCA’s continued success is ongoing; not only on the sales charts but now in new media and social networks. Recently his smash hit “Nite Time” became a YouTube sensation with over nine hundred thousand views and placed #1 on the Spanish Maxima charts.
JCA’s successes found him earning recognition in the US as well. His remix of Nightcrawlers “Push The Feeling On” made it on to the #1 spot of the Billboard Magazines Radio Play Dance Charts. JCA also lent his hot and dirty sound as a featured remixer on the global hit song “Don’t Cha” by Pussycat Dolls feat. Busta Rhymes. Ultimately his remix became claimed the #1 position on Germany’s Dance Charts. Needless to say the massive attention has caused a frenzy of requests for JCA’s touch on various projects from Pop to Rock, from Aura Dione to Deadmau5, which he remixed.
JCA’s infectious sound and undeniable energetic performances have offered him opportunities beyond the dance floor. He was recently chosen to be the exclusive DJ at the Giorgio Armani fashion show in Berlin. He was also selected as one of the few chosen to perform at the famous Love Parade. His style can best be described in the context of his music philosophy: “Music should sound global like a mix of styles from thirty different countries but still be harmonic.” His passion transcends geographic borders with his intoxicating DJ-sets, melding classic house beats and contemporary electronic elements. JCA’s style is the idea of fusing uplifting house, vocals, with bass loaded electro, which captivates his listeners with anticipation for every next beat.
Jean Claude Ades is an irrefutable force whose journey has just begun and audiences are ready for the ride.
