The emerging Urban Artist is convinced that he's part of the underground scene's epicenter.

James M. aka J deGuvna has come quite a long way from being a vital part of a Kwaito group (A South African genre of music which blends Hip Hop, House, Reggae and Soca into a unique, original sound) to pursuing a solo career as part of the newly formed A-GUV with cousin/partner Caesar 'St Quinton' M.

Stina, as his Kwaito group was called, released 2 consecutive Ep's - both of which were nominated for the Botswana Music Awards in 2000 and 2001.

Hardwork has brought about good karma on J deGuvna's part. He has since performed significantly in the G.T.A area in Ontario alongside prominent Canadian acts and self-released a proclaimed compilation/mixtape.

in 2007, his first solo release entitled "What's Real?" hailed much praise and was nominated for 'The Best Hip Hop Recording' at the '07 Hamilton Music Awards.



J deGuvna's currently working close with The 'ingenious' Camarilla on an EP and a debut solo Album simply entitled "The Interview"
