Jordan Giles better known as J.D. is the South's best kept secret. Hailing from Houston Texas the hot spot for deep rooted urban music has permanently made his mark in the history of this powerful life changing culture that we call Hip Hop. This Diamond in the ruff that was found on the south side of the spectacular metropolitan city of Houston has been polished by life's adversity and the triumphs over those obstacles that would have destroyed the average person. Through all that he has been exposed to, J.D. still stands as the definition of "Real".

This journey of greatness began while J.D. was just a freshman in High school. Those of us that remember the normal activities of students while at lunch will remember always seeing a small group of kids standing around and hearing rhymes and flows being sayed and someone being crowned as the best for that day. Well, wherever there was a rhyme being ripped you could almost guarantee there was the beat man right there. J.D. was that beat man, using nothing more than just his balled up fist as the bass line and his pen for the high hats. Normally J.D. would stay quiet and kept until an oppurtinity presented itself when a foolish gestur was made and he was put on the front line being called out by another school yard rapper. To all those who were present for that event witnessed the birth of the man we know now as "Houston's Hardest Artist".

To most of the people that knew "The Fly Boi Himself J.D." would have thought that he was on his way to stardom and fame, because of his ability to be versatile with his style of flow whether it be flashy, gangster, hustler music, or just keeping it real! He was able to touch everyone that he came in contact with. Unfortunately all that would be lost when J.D.'s life took a turn for the worst. He got involved with drugs and that lifestyle changed him from the beat man that grew to be one of the well knowned neiborhood rappers into someone that had lost everything and had to resort to creating a home under a bridge. Homeless and nowhere to go he got deeper into the "Bermuda Triangle" of drugs when he decided to start selling dope to generate money to help support himself and get back to the status he created of himself in the rap game. After many more bad decisions, getting put in jail, nearly getting shot, and almost getting locked up again, this time for multiple felonies, he was convinced that his life had to change.

August 13, 2005 was the day that J.D. would reemerge as that outstanding, hyptmotizing lyricist that everyone remembered as the next possible artist to blow up out of Houston. Through hard work and keeping focus on the prize J.D. has done just that. He has now proven himself to be that next big name to come out of Houston to join the ranks of those like Paul Wall, Bun B, Pimp C, Chamillionare, and others that have gone him that represent that great lone star state of Texas.
