Jerilynn was born in Moose Jaw Saskatchawan had the pleasure of living in different cities across Canada.Currently she calls East Vancouver her home. Over the last few years she has been greatly involved with the Urban Native community in the city and she has a passion for youth participation and youth voice. Jerilynn recently returned from a one year stint in Toronto where she attended the Centre for Indigineous Theatre. Now she's ready to give back to her Community with the skills she has learned through theatre.



Jb is a triple threat as an Emcee, director of performance and actor. JB has performed over a hip hop 100 shows in and around Vancouver. From club shows to Annual general meetings for community organizations. Spreading the words of empowerment and her perspective of a Urban indigenous women in canada. She is 24 years old, and hails from the Nuxalk and Cayuga Nations "Using my words to go upwards/ not backwards" are lyrics that describes what JB tries to convey in her music. Hip Hop is her chosen avenue of expression. Lyrically motivated music with depth, meaning, positivity like none other. Jb reveals a gene of hip hop she calls "Cutie Empowerment HIP HOP".In November 2008 Jb released her 1st album Called "Indigenous Love". "Indigenouse love" is an album with political raps and love songs. Jb first album diffentely captures the opions and expression of a young urban indigenous women. Jb wants young indigenous women to feel proud,inspired, and to finally see someone on stage that looks like them. Since there not to many Canadian indigenous women represented in mainstream media. Lastly Jb is likely the first lady you'll every see b-boxing (making beats with her mounth)
