Jazzland Recordings is home to some of the finest and most innovative music coming out of Norway and beyond. It is a label of unexclusive opposites where the distinctions and limitations set by other labels do not apply.



Jazzland Acoustic displays the talents of young (and not-so-young!) jazz musicians in their rawest form, where talent and technique are king. Paal Nilsson-Love, Håkon Kornstad, Ingebrigt Håker Flaten, and Håvard Wiik are just some of the astounding musicians that have released their unique and beautiful music through Jazzland Acoustic.

Jazzland Grüner is home for artists who use the instrumentation and technology more associated with electronic dance music and turntablism to put forward their jazz vision. The "Grünerlökka" scene finds its home here, with ascendent stars Beady Belle, Raymond Pellicer (aka DJ Dark Norse aka Phono), Illumination, The Mungolian Jet Set and Gen;Lon.

The Jazzland main label, the core, is an exciting frontier zone where elements from the acoustic and electronic merge to form new and exciting sounds, often inviting instrumentation from further afield, such as Dhafer Youssef and his stunning oud playing and belief-defying voice. Bugge Wesseltoft, Sidsel Endresen, Eivind Aarset and Audun Kleive, Jon Eberson, Jon Balke, Torun Eriksen and Wibutee have brought a whole new belief in innovative and accessible Jazz to the world through Jazzland Recordings.
