Jason Crowley is one of the up and coming guitarists to see, hear and watch. Covering a wide stylistic range and arriving at his own style, Crowley is always pushing the limits of stylistic boundaries. The short story is, Jason got a drum set when he was five, he broke it in three days. His mother played guitar so there was always one around the house. He didn't break that one, he played that one for a long time and hasn't stopped playing guitar since. He has been playing clubs since he was 15. Currently remixing a cd to be released this year with JC on guitar, Hunt Sales on drums (Tin Machine, Iggy Pop) and Will Sexton on bassWill has played with many many players as well. . Jason is going to be releasing some new original material featuring drumming from Chad Wackerman (Frank Zappa, Allan Holdsworth, Andy Summers, Steve Vai) more updated on that project soon. Also completed an all original cd with Calvin Weston (Vernon Reid, Ornette Coleman, James Blood Ulmer) on drums with Tom Spiker on bass. Also working with bass player Doug Lunn (Bruce Springsteen, Jerry Cantrell, Gilby Clarke, Sting, Reeves Gabrels, Wayne Kramer, Andy Summers, John Abercrombie, Chad Wackermanand just about anyone I can think of in LA) and Brock Avery (Wayne Kramer, Reeves Gabrels) Also recently with Jeff Reilly drummer (Chris Duarte).Jason is also working with Stephen Egerton from Descendents, All. That new project is called Crowley/Egerton, look forward to more new music coming soon. Stephen is covering the drums and the bass and is writing some great tunes. JC is lending his guitar parts and ideas. They're creating some interesting Punk/Avant/Rock musicit's breaking the rules so check it out.
