JAYA

Jaya was born on one of the hottest days in July in the State of Illinois, in a city we'll all know to be windy but we call Chicago, or simply the CHI. Jaya, an only child, was blessed to be given multiple talents most would only dream of. Her talents include drawing, cosmetology, writing and singing to name a few.



Being able to entertain is the talent that has become Jaya's passion. The gift to sing, write and arrange songs is as valuable to Jaya as breathing air is to life. A lover of all kinds of music, her own being categorized as Urban Soul or simply good music. Jaya is an admirer of countless lyrical diva's such as Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight, Mary J. Blige, Lauren Hill and Erika Badu.



Jaya has captivated audiences all over with an original smooth, sultry and seductive style of her own. This year of 2007 has arrived with Jaya cruising by its side and her music supplying the soundtrack for the ride.
