Whether his songs go platinum or become an anthem for fervent fans from Nashville to Sydney, Jason's Deere's music is life-affirming. With each melody, Deere triggers deep emotions about love, heart-ache, simple joys and getting through the tough times.
Deere has made a career out of writing hit songs and developing hit artists. The song Love's Lookin' Good on You written for Lady Antebellum went double-platinum. He's also penned memorable tunes for Little Big Town, Leann Rimes, Jessica Simpson, Jim Brickman, SHeDAISY, Be Be Winans, Natalie Grant, Point of Grace, Wanessa Camargo, Leonardo, Luiza Possi, The Wreckers, James Wesley, Stealing Angels and Due West, and has a lengthy list of film and television credits. When he's not cranking out hits, Deere is devoted to helping other artists become major label recording acts such as SHeDaisy, Due West, Ryan Shupe & the Rubberband and Little Big Town. Songs produced and re-mixed for Trace Adkins and Joe Nichols have also climbed to the top of the charts. But his life-long zeal is working with the best artists in the business and inspiring others to reach their pinnacle of success.
He wrote, recorded and produced two best-selling and award winning albums about the history of the LDS Church (Joseph: A Nashville Tribute to the Prophet, and The Trek: A Nashville Tribute to the Pioneers) after combing through volumes of pioneer journals and long hours of quiet contemplation. Many of the songs were born in special moments of sacred reflection. He is the guiding force behind the Nashville Tribute Band, which has performed hundreds of concerts in the U.S., Canada, Australia and China. Deere's latest CD in the LDS trilogy – The Work: A Nashville Tribute to the Missionaries, will be released in 2011.
