Jarvis Cocker presents an illustrated selection of his lyrics detailing his development as a songwriter and provides useful tips for aspiring songsmiths. Cocker was one of the founding members of Sheffield, England-based band Pulp in the late 1970s. The band rose to mainstream prominence in the mid-1990s, with a couple of hit singles and a Mercury Prize-winning album (Different Class). Pulp took a long hiatus beginning in 2002 and reunited in 2011 for several concerts and festival appearances.
