Jaque Faye

I'm proud to be a 'California Country' girl, having grown up in the beautiful mountains of the Central Sierras among the biggest trees in the world-the Giant Sequoias. I rode to school every day down a windy mountain road and through the blossom trails of the Central Valley farm country, humming along to "all my exe's live in Texas," and wishing I could see some of that "ocean front property" that didn't exist in Arizona! After high school, Santa Monica became my home, while I pursued a short career in modeling. I learned how to rollerblade oceanside with the best (or weirdest!) of them, and where all the shopping was on 3rd Street Promenade. Modeling took me to the Duomo's of Milan and the beer gardens of Munich, but my roots and my passion ultimately led me to Nashville to pursue writing and singing country music. Influenced by the ol' Bakersfield sound of Buck and Dwight, the magnetic energy of Shania Twain, and the timeless melodies of fleetwood Mac, I hope you like this 'California Country!'
