According to the popular mobile search 'CHA-CHA', "Jamison Taylor French is a singer and musician from Louisville, KY. He has shaggy brown hair."
While this may have been true circa 2008, Jamison is now re-amerging with a fresh cut and fresh sound.
After releasing his debut EP, "Too Much, Too Soon", in 2005, Jamison traveled and performed countless shows in the midwest & southern US regions (Louisville, Lexington, Cincinnati, Chicago, Indianapolis, Tenneesee, Mississippi). He landed opening spots for national touring artists like Tony-nominated comedian/singer-songwriter, Stephen Lynch and Geffen recording artist Matt White. His solo EP received national college airplay, major online distribution and was licensed by MTV for their hit show "My Super Sweet Sixteen".

In 2008, Jamison took a well needed break away from his solo endeavor's to tour and play bass with the Matt Bayless Band. They traveled nationwide with CIY's 'Move' summer youth conferences. After three consecutive summers of packed arena's and concert halls, Jamison's love and passion for music was revitalized. More importantly, it served as an eye-opening experience to witness how music can truly help, heal and connect others.

Fast forward to present day Jamison has joined up with good friends, Nic Braune and Brian Seong, to form Louisville's very own alt-rock group, "The County Line". Their self-titled debut LP, was mixed by notable mixing engineer Brian Shueble (e.g. Needtobreathe, Dave Matthews, Elton John, John Mayer, Wallflowers). Within less than a year of the album's release, they were named by 91.9 WFPK as one of Louisville's Top Ten Albums of 2010 and have been featured as opening acts for national touring bands such as Low Anthem and Backyard Tire Fire.
On top of The County Line shows, Jamison has begun to play solo acoustic shows in the Louisville region once again. With fresh new material and the best of his past shows, we're sure to experience all the charm, beat-boxing and quirky-popful tongue-in-cheek references his music encompasses.
Talent or determination, you ask? We're not sure which drives Jamison and musical abilities. Whether he is playing bass, behind the drums, or fronting his solo project, one thing is for sure, we've only seen the fringes of what is in store.
