About time I got rid of that long winded, self-indulgent blurb that I had on here before, because it was pretty rubbish really and people kept telling me off ;0)
Basically I like to sing. Some say i'm pretty good at it.



I like to Genre-hop because i'm a little indecisive. I find that particularly troublesome in restaurants. Me and menu's don't get on in a speedy capacity if you know what I mean!. I'm a bit of a Heinz 57 myself. I'm half half Irish/Iranian (Whole terrorist) (I spent a lot of the school holidays in customs) but brought up by a Cantonese fella; so I've got a bit of temper, pretty good for a boogie and I have terrible table manners. Not sure what's nature or nurture, not sure it even matters. ! Think it really is coming to a time where I have to decide which box i'm in though, think that's probably how you start to sell lots of records cos then people will be able to find and buy you right?. suppose it won't be that bad as long as I get to paint my box with loveliness. :0) I have decided that I should just make up a genre then I can do what I like with it! How about VOODOO DOLL BLUES? Throw in some Tom Waits, Tribal drums, ethereal vocals, Thom yorke synthesisers, Bjork bv's, sugar spiced pop and you're half way there.Think the devil molesting Angels ;0)



I'm working on lots of different projects at the moment. Writing my first solo album which I will start giging very soon, might even have a Voodoo Doll backing band! Also working with some bloody fine musicians on things and wotsits; all of whom you can check out in my top friends.Little Rad Riding Hood is a multi-talented Faerie. She plays Cello/Piano for me and is an exceptional artist and photographer; a muse to all. :0) . Dave Pearson is an exceptional guitarist I met whilst up North. He's just recorded with Corrine Bailey-Rae, which I'm very jealous about. (She's wonder filled that one isn't she?!)



T'others after are people & musicians I like, mixed in with some musical aquaintainces past & present. Miss Topley- Bird for instance, I have been working as her Backing Vocalist since '07 Gigs have included.
