Jamie Nichols is relaxed, poised, and as she reaches the mic, it’s apparent she has been in command of this moment from the start by the sheer force of her personality. Her arrival, her presence is such that standing up under the lights is an afterthought, not a necessity, to draw her audience to her. With a voice both throaty and pure and lyrics transcending the alt-chick norm, her songs captivate. No song is the same once her voice has touched it. The richness she imbues each song with, the intensity of her tone is a rarity not to be missed.

Lead vocalist, guitarist and songwriter, Jamie Nichols was born and raised in Chicago on blues, country and rock.

Her father’s Chicago and Nashville music legendry instilled in her an eclectic style that complements her edgy lyrics and harmonic vocals.

Jamie has formed a new band that consists of some of the most prolific and exciting musicians in Chicago. Bassist John Cidulka is a versatile, incredibly solid, and thoroughly badass performer that never uses a pick or effects - let's his fingers do the talkin. From punk to groove to gritty blues, John is obsessed with exploring new bass territories. Pairing up with Josef Zeigler on drums, this dynamic duo locks down a solid rhythm sextion. Josef adds a ferocious beat and a high-energy drumming style that will lift your ass outta your chair!

Adam Smith plays a mean guitar, brings life to the party, is composition friendly, and is an audio genious.

You may have seen Jamie Nichols perform at The Note, The Double Door, The Metro, Abbey Pub, Heartland Café, Redline Tap, Cubby Bear, Gunther Murphey's, Hoghead McDunnas, OMalleys, No Exit Cafe, Stonecutters, Hard Rock Hotel, 4Art Inc., and just about every local venue.

With full band capabilities or intimate acoustic settings, we have the music you want to hear!!
