Founded in 2004 in Comines (West Side Belgium-French border)for the love of reggae music through all his styles, Jahwed was first a reggae live band founded by 2 brothers Nerlock Ki La and Taïwé. Later Likkle Rhym joined the live act with some other MC's to become actually one of the 2 main singers of the group with Nerlock Ki La which is the first Belgian artist to have record a 7" vynil on a Jamaican Label (Ujama-Prince Jazzbo) "Di Dollar it a Die" alongside veteran jamaican artist Black Thunder.
After several years in the business, Jahwed decided to create Jahwed Sound when King Rachid and Mad Codiouf joined the family. With 2 Selectors/operators King Rachid & Taïwé + Mad Codiouf as MC/Selector, Jahwed is now ready to mash up any party all around towns in all reggae style : Digital-Early D-Roots-Foundation-Dub-Dancehall from Jamaica but also from France/West Indies . In 2011, JAHWED FAMILY won the second edition of BELJAM CUP CLASH in Gent.
