Culturally grounded with a deep passion to positively Influence society, Jah Vision is not your average 23 year old youth. Born in 1988 to parents Christine mason and Clive Gentles, Javorie Gentles aka "Jah Vision" spent his formative years growing in the community of White Hall, Kingston 8. He Attended Swallowfield Primary and Junior High And Edith Dalton James High.
Jah Vision's love for music came to the fore at a tender age of eleven and has been continually nurtured through the years. As a result this singer/singjay has channelled his boundless energies when not playing football to creating music steeped in his Jamaican roots and culture.
In 2005 at the tender age of 17, Jah Vision recorded his first single "Love Everytime" as well as collaborations with reggae crooners Gyptian "Better Mus Come" and Turbulance "Waiting For You"
In 2006 Jah Vision was invited on stage by Gyptian at the internationally recognized and world renowned reggae musical festival Reggae Sumfest.
On December 5, 2010 he opened for Professor Nuts at the Studio Boulevard on Trafalgar Road. The show "Kingston Rock" was put by AI Entertainment.
A Prolific song writer, Jahvision emphasizes that the purpose of his music is to spread a positive consciousness across the globe in the hope of making the world a better place. Armed with this vision he is determined to present to the youths of today an exceptionally positive role model to whom they can look up to and emulate while channeling their energies into their creativity through music and away from crime and violence spreading the message of love and unity. This heartfelt vision was translated into the highly favoured and widely accepted song "Love Everytime"
Jah Vision's recent recordings include songs like 'Freedom", "Bad Mind Wah Si Mi Die", as well as current hit songs "Tomorrow" produced by 21st HAPILOS, "No Joke Ting" a collaboration with dancehall artiste Flexxx on the Hotta Clapz riddim, produced by DJ Frass, "Set Me Free" produced by Fagan Fraternity/HAPILOS and "Thinking of You".
Jah Vision says his goals are to continue promoting the deep rooted values of roots and culture espoused through reggae music on the world wide stage and to ultimately walk in the shoes of the great reggae icon "Bob Marley. He credits his high level of professionalism to the time he spends in the recording studio as he fine tunes his craft while creating more wonderful, culturally positive and melodious music for his ever growing fan base and friends to enjoy. He also acknowledges his musical influences such as his grandfather and late Vintage Artiste Bill Gentles, Bob Marley, Gyptian, I-Wayne, Jah Cure, Beres Hammond and Natural Black for being the catalyst in his musical journey.
Jah Vision is currently managed by the US based industry powerhouse HAPILOS Entertainment Group (HEG).
