I am looking to book a few moreI will play "clubs/venues" but i am more interested in DIY spots, art galleries, abandoned warehouses etc etc .I will not be spinning what most would think of as a traditional dj sets, these sets are carefully crafted sound sigils utilizing cut-up technique, sleep deprivation, lucid dreaming, granular synthesis, tidal shifts, John Dee-like methods of scrying, instrument glitches, SETI synchronization and chaos theory and minimalism.
However,it is not important for me to be placed alongside any other djs doing something similar, if there is such a thing. It is more important to me to spread a message of LIFE-POWER wherever i am with music .

I suppose i should introduce myself(S).Jacurutu:3 is a self-described “scissorman”, one who cuts up and reassembles sound, video, art and reality itself to suit his own means. He is a magician (blue magick),former pro-wrestler, current pro- wrestling manger,an audio-informant with numerous releases as Jacurutu:3 and under several other aliases since the mid-1990s.
He founded the life-power church in 2008, built upon the ideas developed in his self-published first book, The Scissor Bible (a book of continuous writing).The scissor bible has been followed up by other writings including the ongoing comic book series, Withdrawals.
Now that i have talked about myself in (third) person, i will tell you that www.jacurutu3.com and its myspace extension is an idea i have wanted to
develop for awhile,instead of an average muscian/artist site i will construct the site as an open source document,a direct communication link between
you and i, not only sharing my audio,art and writings but what has had a direct impact upon it and us.An interactive art document;Through personal action, reaction, and interaction we can make an art out of both living and dying.

I was trained by sharkboy, pro wrestling career was cut short due to an injury. Managing now and taking bookings!

THE BLUE PATH
".i am on sand in bright yellow daylight,yet there is no sun.This color does not agree with me .Then i realize that i am the sun.But yet i am not yellow.i cannot be,nor do i want to be.My light shines out as a BLUE pathwhen i realize this ,i move out of myself.I turn,expecting to see myself as the sun,but i am not the sun,i am a stick figure,a childs drawing with zigzag lightening lines for eyes,stick legs and stick arms.Theres is a scepter in my left handand its a real scepter,much more detailed in its reality than the stick figure that holds it.The scepter moves,and this terrifies me.As it moves,i feel myself awaken,yet i know im still dreaming.I realize then that my skin is encased in something.an armor which moves as my skin moves.I cannot see the armor but i feel it,and without seeing i realize its color .BLUE.BLUE GLITTERMy terror leaves me then,for this armor gives me the strength of 10,ooo men.I see the way to escape of future of prescience,of any 3 concurrent paths,and for once, i am at peace."
I am currently focused on the 18-month abramelin working
and during this time i am seeking out labels to release much of the Jacurutu3 material i have piled up.
The abramelin thus far has certainly been a life-altering experience and it's far from being finished. Things which seemed so important to me in the past no longer do.

MASS DELETION
I am in the middle of a mass deleting of "friends" here on myspace. At one time I added anyone who sent a request.But if i am going to be able to continue to use this thing at all then that won't be happening anymore.Beginning In april 2010 i will travelling extensively, perhaps permenatly, and when i come across internet access i will need to be able to reach certain friends, family and supporters easily and quickly. I WON'T need to reach friend collectors, advertisers and scenesters. I WON'T need to go thru pages and pages of comments/advertisments. This myspace is the only site i use besides www.jacurutu3.com, this is my music site and im interested in communicating with PEOPLE through my music, not someone who has added me for some other reason than actual communication. I am keeping anyone i know that has a geniune interest in what i am doing.
Chances are pretty high though that i will accidently delete a few people that i don't mean to. (Especially if you have changed names or pictures to somethign i didnt recongnize) So if we have had contact before or if you want to stay informed of jacurutu3 than please resend a friend request.
Of course none of this means that i'm not interested in meeting any new people,quite the oppostie.feel free to add me if you enjoy the music and writings, and if i send you a request I am genuinly interested in speaking with you and what you are doing, I am not adding people to increase plays or have a huge "fan base" as many myspace bands do.
I am more interested in having a "friends" list that is composed or legitmate "FRIENDS"not "FANS" .friends. Not Friend collectors,advetisers etc etc.but "FRIENDS." So lets be friends.
