A San Luis Obispo native, j4rd is a multi-facited artist that is ready to bulid the hip-hop scene that his hometown deserves. Raised on gospel, but trained in classical and jazz. The result is a style that sounds familiar, but also like something fresh and new. He is also one of the "In House" producers for the group with songs like REVOLUTION and RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE. Whether it's vocal or instrumental, j4rd is looking to harness many musical styles to bring hip-hop back to the creative forefront.



The group known as the Public Defendaz is a collection of multi-talented individuals representing the elements of hip-hop whose purpose is to bring audiences a new quality of music that directly reflects the word of the people. By combining the driving forces of lyrical word play and versatile productions, this group of individuals from various regions of California band together to preserve the true elements of hip-hop.
