Lil Buna (Artist Bio)



Born in Florence, South Carolina and now residing in Goldsboro, North Carolina this female rap artist proves that she is Carolina bred. As a young teen many young females are interested in boys, clothes and prom. But for this young teen life wasn’t easy. Sweet sixteen candles quickly turned into some hot sixteen’s over a southern track for Lil Buna. hood to hood experiences have molded her into the rapper she is today. After writing and experimenting she realized her potential when people everywhere would want to hear her music and beg her to rap. In 2007 she put together a mixtape entitled, ‘More Than Ready.’ She was featured on Nitram Knarf, Carolina TV DVD and was featured as the main girl in a local artist video. She immediately gained a huge buzz in Eastern North Carolina, which had a domino effect as the DVD was circulated all over the southern region. In 2008 she was nominated for 2 Southern Entertainment Awards (SEA), making her the first NC artist ever nominated. Her first single, “Im Rollin” quickly swept through North Carolina radio stations. Lil Buna has since been featured in several magazines and online sites and is now currently working on upcoming projects and has released a mixtape compilation entitled, ‘Dirty Business’ hosted by Nitram Knarf DJ, Barry Bee (Da Norf Cak Boss). She in currently involved with the Ski Beatz Carolina Blue compilation album, which will feature her new single ‘F Wit You’ produced by famed producer, Ski Beatz. Born in Florence South Carolina. Later she moved to Goldsboro, North Carolina were she resided until departure of life. She began her rap career at a young age. During her teen years she chose to focus on music. At the age of 16 her peers would soon learn of her passion for music when she starts rhyming at the local hang out spots. She soon blew them away and demanded their respect. She was into put a the studio and the rest is history. Through out her short lived career she was nominated for numorous awards, appeared in nurmorious shows, dvds and magazines. She is most noted for her cocky attitude, pretty smile and first ever NC artist nominee for SEA southern, entertainment award. She is well known and respected all over. Her most recent project was a State 2 Stater album released in March '09 which one of her tracks was selected gained large recognition in the state of Kentucky.
