ISA

I was born in the city of Philadelphia. I wanted everything to do with music since I can remember. My parents were funny about it because I would ask if I could get a drum set, then a bass guitar, then a keyboard. They thought I would get them broke. But after I went through my list of instruments I finally stuck with the guitar. My mom purchased my Taylor which I have had since. Its what I call "my baby", the first and last gift my mom gave me.



Since her passing back in February 2002, I've been on a road of discovering myself and in a lot of ways the music has helped me through much pain. It's been the expression of my heart.



My dad is a huge fan and has supported me over the years and even more so recently. I love that he loves my music and is proud of me. Here's something he said to me recently, "If you see the door open, GO & don't look back! God is with you. I'm proud of my kid."



I been around the music scene for a lot of years and just recently came out of a 2 year break. It was a time of trying to figure out where this was going or more like where I wanted to go. Now I know and nothing's holding me back. Enjoy the songs. Let others know. Love well.
