The name says it all, four talented young women on a mission to promote education through their music. Over the last two years, IQ has made a name for themselves, by endorsing to youth, "that you can achieve your dreams by studying hard and still have fun." The message is; "I Qualify". Academically, each member maintains an above average GPA. The members of IQ participate in many extra-curricular activities such as; sports, acting, dancing, modeling, student government, and Rotary. The group's image is wholesome, innocent, positive and educationally based. They are smart, youthful, energetic, and hard working. More importantly, IQ wants to send a message to the youth around the world "Don't be a fool, it's cool to be down with school". "I Qualify" to be acknowledged, to be loved, to respect others, to share your time, your treasures, and your talents.

Four (4) intelligent ladies telling the world "I Qualify" and making good decisions. Hence the name IQ. It all started with a school talent show. Sadiea and Nyla Williams asked their father to compose songs that they could perform at a school talent show. The song "School" was born and the girls gave their first live appearance. Their musical blend of R&B, Hip Hop, and Pop, is combined with singing, dancing and rap, creating a youthful, innocent new sound. The positive response from their peers was overwhelming. It inspired the sisters to continue their new hobby and add two new members to the group. Gicelle Valerio and Lauren Mafera came aboard and IQ was born.

Let's meet IQ.

Nyla; 16, (Rapper, Vocalist, Choreographer), is the reigning queen Miss Junior Teen Massachusetts, 2005-2006, for National American Miss. She loves poetry, music, dancing, modeling, basketball and track. She has dreams of becoming an entertainer and fashion designer.

Working hard IQ performed in Boston, New York and Hollywood to promote the release of their EP, "It's Like That", initially released on Apple iTunes in May 2005. New Year's Eve 2005 they performed at the Disney Jingle Jam in Boston with B5, Everlife and Jada. In 2006 they continued to showcase their flavor, and launched a radio campaign for the re-make of the Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons song "Big Girls Don't Cry". IQ continued to perform shows with Radio Disney and obtained the prestige of becoming a Radio Disney Incubator along with such artists as Orlando Brown, B5, Keke Palmer, Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan, Nikki Flores, the Jonas Brothers, and Nuttin But Stringz. The buzz around IQ ignited a small fire. IQ fanned those flames by releasing their debut EP "Roll Call" in July, distributed by WPE Music, LLC through Bungalo/Universal. Since the release of Roll Call the girls have gained an even larger fan base. This lead to an invitation to perform at the Boston Hip-Hop Festival "For Peace" with Rakim, Special Teamz,

Edo G, and Free from BET. In August of 2006 they performed with Def Jam recording star Ne-Yo. To add to their repertoire, they have performed at various youth festivals and schools through out New England. They closed out 2006 by performing at the Disney Jingle Jam (in Boston) with the Jonas Brothers and Nuttin But Stringz.

Moving forward into 2007, IQ is the hottest new girl group in New England. They are officially launching a 12week national radio campaign to promote their new album "CRUSH" distributed by WPE Music, LLC through Bungalo/Universal. The album includes IQ's hot new single, "Crush On U", remixed by Don Vito. Don Vito, "The Urban Legend", deemed as one of the hottest R&B/hip-hop producers, captured the music scene with two singles: "Do It Do It," by Capitol Record's artist, Cherish, featuring Sean Paul, and "Good Luck Charm," by Columbia's recording artist, Jagged Edge. Both tracks made crazy heat on the Billboard charts and maintained popularity on BET'S 106 & Park Top Ten countdown. Crush, On U is sure to be a hot radio hit. The new album "CRUSH" also has follow up singles remixed by Don Vito with features by legendary Rapper, "CL Smooth" and hot new sensation "Baby Boy Da Prince". The album also features "J.R. Writer" from Dispet and hot new reggae artist, "Mighty Mystic".

The girls of IQ are Sexy, Smart & Crazy. And the new album "CRUSH" is sure to bring success and crossover for IQ's music.
