This author/emcee began his music journey in 2003 from a production standpoint in Lexington, KY where he went to college. He began writing poetry and music in the inner city of Cincinnati, OH and started performing when he moved to Chicago, IL in 2008. In the year 2010, straight out of Brooklyn, NY, the “Mecca” of Hip Hop, Insight is debuting his music and books in an undeniable package of powerful words and concepts. Although he loves his new home of Brooklyn and all the places he has lived in the Midwest over the past years honing his skills, his roots will always remain in Philadelphia. It was in Philly that his mind, mission, and consciousness began to take shape and became what we now know as Insight. With the launch of his debut album “Insightful,” and his powerful new book designed to wake up the streets entitled, Look in the Mirror, this author/emcee is on a mission to change the world.
