WHATS HAPPENING 2008?

Things are getting better all the time. We started the year headlining the 1000 capacity Clapham Grand in London which was absolutely amazing!! Then we came back to Birmingham, headlined the legendary Actress and Bishop and because of the success of that our next gig in birmingham is going to have to be at a bigger venue!!

Basically on the gig front attendances for our gigs are on the up, and everyone who comes seems to have a great time. We stand by the fact that NO ONE will EVER feel short changed at one of our gigs. We will play our bollox off at each and every gig and we'll give you the best night we can! So come to one, be a part of it.

So we're hoping to get out there more and more on the gigs front and we definately want/need to hit London a few more times this year. We also want to tour to promote our new single

NEW SINGLE!?

Yup, that's the plan. We're heading back into the studio to record a new E.P later this year which will contain 7-8 songs on it. from that recording session we will have a single, there will be a music video for it, it'll be on itunes and it's going to be our first attempt at attacking the UK top 40. We're looking to have it released February 2009.

WE HAVE ACCOMPLISHED.

REVIEWS

After a short interlude/DJ set from myself and Jones came the headline slot of Insanity Project.

After a small tech problem the trio dominated the stage and blasted through a great set of there awesome album and several covers.

Benji was on top form with his trade mark look and sound and looked like he was loving playing to the crowd and encourage loads of banter back and forth with the audience. Both Matt (with what looks the most uncomfortable bass strap in history) and Ricky pounded through the set with amazing skill and timing.

The highlights having to be the storming rendition of Night Club (which sees Benji screaming like a fucker that no other person could do on this planet) and an amazing cover of The Polices message in a bottle.

I would totally recomend checking out both of these bands, guys you will not be disapointed. SPOOKY - THE SPOOKY AND JONES SHOW - WWW.BEASTRADIO.COM

Last night there was an extra element to Insanity Project's performance, a fire inside so to speak, something of which I know can be a rarity in live performances. But I felt Insanity Project were simply stunning last night, tracks such 'Detonator' amongst others which I've heard so often were delivered with a fierce passion I've never seen before. Musically it was impressively tight, with Benji still one of the best guitarists Tamworth has to offer. In past performances I've sometimes felt that Benji's voice holds them back, but last night you could literally hear the emotion within each note and scream. During the set I couldn't help but see Insanity Project in a new light, from a band I used to just like, I'm now a true fan. SIMON DANIELS

Insanity Project make heavy, loud in-your-face music. Breakneck guitars, furious drumming and rough, gritty (and surprisingly melodic in places) rock vocals; make an energetic, part classic rock, part heavy-rock, combination sound. A pretty tight performance, although there were a few slips, and some of the vocals were hit and miss, albeit mainly hit. Already receiving some radio play for their standout track “Supermodel”, they have some well-written songs, and a great stage presence. SURFACE UNSIGNED
