in-FUSED was started by TOMMY T. RAPISARDI as a solo project in 1997.

This was an additional outlet for electronic, experimental, industrial, and synthpop music for TOMMY T. on his own.There were compilation appearances in the late 90's, for some of the first tracks, including BIOTECH 02 COMPILATION(SDS PROD.), and DIGITAL:6-FOCUS:A(DSBP)

Then a CD-R release called "coding emotion" was released on DSBP in 1998 as a way for the songs to be compiled so far.This has some decent support and success, although not promoted or pushed as a regular DSBP release.

With the many demands in daily life, TOMMY barely had time to really focus on releasing a full length of the in-FUSED music, so it took a backseat to DIVERJE, DSBP and CYBERAGE RADIO.

In 2001 TOMMY started working on the in-FUSED stuff in between DIVERJE sessions and whenever something came out that didn't fit DIVERJE it was used for in-FUSED because this project has no boundaries, and was more "for fun" than anything else.

The first solo in-FUSED album was officially released in FEB. 2004 on DSBP RECORDS!!

"Misplaced" is the debut 18 track release from in-FUSED!

in its schizophrenic unpredictable way, this album has really opened up new doors for TOMMY T. and the possilities in his upcoming releases.This album features a balanced and intresting melange of ELECTRO-INDUSTRIAL old school, POWER NOISE, GLITCH, D'N'B,TRANCE, and slower AMBIENT Soundtrack electronics.A very open minded,"freeform" approach, which has really benefitted the release in a time where so much stuff coming out is starting to sound the same and so "set in genre" usually.

==================================================

We have many surprises in store for 2005, including a new album for the end of the year, and new partners in crime working with TOMMY T. including CHRIS COZORT from IAMMYNEWT, and others from the THIRDWAVE COLLECTIVE, and we will mention more when the time for a new release is closer.

New tracks will be put up as we get them ready for you

REVIEW

---------------------

You can tell that Tommy T. (of Diverje fame) loves old school EBM. His new solo project, in-FUSED, goes all over the place, from noisy, high-paced minimal stuff to ambient, but it all bears the mark of someone who's listened to lots of really early Front 242 and Leather Strip. "Misplaced" and "Breaking the Code" are the most obvious, with their analog drum machines and robotic vocals, but the rest of the album shows certain traits as well. "A Place To Bleed" is noisier, but still fun, a perfect track to stomp to. "Find To Keep" adds trance elements, but there's still enough reverb on the bass drum to keep the mood of a German dance club circa 1988, while "Beneath" is so unabashedly retro it's got synthesized handclaps on the rhythm track. Beyond the fondness for vocoders and 808s, this album does feature some more modern elements as well. "Evacuate" has a more contemporary harsh EBM feel bordering on power noise, while "Zonex" is in-FUSED's nod to drum 'n' bass. More abstract experimentation shows up on the chirps and clicks of "Mud Slipperz" and the cut-up beats of "Beardies," a song T. wrote for his pet bearded dragons. Despite his clear proficiency in composing tracks in various styles, though, it's the love for electronic music - both new and old - that makes this album such an enjoyable listen. When you listen to in-FUSED, you immediately realize that Tommy T. made this record because he likes this kind of music as much as you do, not because he wants to have the next club hit of the week.
